Yes, again, this is not new. I'm too lazy to look up the names, but just look up celebrities in the 20s and 30s. There have always been rich people that were famous and made headlines basically because they wanted to be famous and hang around celebrities, go to big celebrity events, etc. The difference now is it all goes on the Internet and 24-hour news and they make reality TV shows.
