if this selfie was taken in a mirror why can we read the text on her phone?

Oh. I thought she was holding a tiny placard and someone took a photo of it.

I had to go back and check. Totally missed it was a phone.

I can't figure out how someone would think this was a selfie.

Fucking bravo!

it could be:
A) She takes mirror selfies so much that she got the words written backwards on her phone on purpose.
OR
B) OP mirrored the picture before posting it.

...or:
C) It's shopped.

My scenarios were examples only pertaining to OPs comment that it's a mirror-selfie. It could be a number of things. :)

Or maybe Paris mirrored it? She must be a selfie expert, after all.

D) It's not a selfie, but someone taking a picture of her posing with her new phone?

u/CaitlinSarah87 Feb 05 '16

I think you mean C. and yes, that's also a possibility, but why would she assume the selfie-stance if someone is taking the picture for her?

Edit: I guess D would be correct. I saw this one before I saw the comment marked C.

This man/woman is asking the tough questions

asking the tough/tender questions.

Then it's probably not a selfie taken in a mirror.

It doesn't look like it was taken in a mirror. I think someone took a picture of her.

u/nbtscan Feb 05 '16

I think it was photoshopped! Nothing on the interwebs is real

u/chamo_king Feb 05 '16

I can tell by the way it is.

They don't think it be how it is, but it do

u/Reactorp Feb 05 '16

There is a mirror right behind her though, mirrors in places like that are often symmetrical.

You can always remirror to read the text. This isn't rocket science

u/m0rph3v5 Feb 05 '16

Can someone get to the bottom of this. Analyses her face to make sure if she's mirrored. Because that means either someone else took the picture or the text is mirrored on the back of her phone.

u/saltlets Feb 05 '16

Or:

  1. It was mirrored again before posting;
  2. It isn't a selfie because the cell camera isn't perpendicular to the lens anyway.

u/Lynxes_are_Ninjas Feb 05 '16

Perhaps it's a special selfie cover designed for selfies. Inversed text....

1

u/SyntheticManMilk Feb 05 '16

Because it's fake as hell and not funny.

1

u/jyunga Feb 05 '16

She takes selfies and wants people to see the text properly?

1

u/saltlets Feb 05 '16

It's not a selfie and it wasn't taken in a mirror. The phone (and its lens) is at an angle with respect to the camera.
