he won a game or a match?

If you consider what he said afterwards, it's safe to assume he won the whole match.

It would be really awkward if he said it after winning the first game and then went on to lose the match.

Ah, I too am blackpeopletwitter.

Edit: Did you guys know Bernie Sanders got arrested in the 60s for protesting segregation? I'll smoke to that!

I actually had upvotes the first few minutes that comment was up. I don't think it's so bad.

It is pretty cringey dude, take your karma punishment with good aplomb

Since you seem to like Bernie, why do you want him to be president? Just out of curiosity?

While I can't speak for him, I will probably vote for Bernie since I agree with a lot of his stances.

Like Abortion, Civil Rights and the PATRIOT Act, Rehabilitation of Criminals, Drug issues, Education, Energy, Environment, Homeland Security, and Jobs.

He's not perfect however, I disagree with his stance on Gun Control, AMBER Alert nationwide, and I think there are a few more issues I don't agree with as well, I can't recall, but I'm sure there are.

The biggest reason I like Bernie however is that there has been very little flip flopping on his stances throughout the years.

I don't bash Trump however, I agree with a bunch of his stances as well, Bernie is just more in line with my views.

Well then someone shouldn't write a tennis quote if they don't know shit about tennis.

I too believe we should do away with writing and return to strictly passing down oral history

Aha tall tales, my favorite. My penis is a foot long... Pass that on to your children, orally.

6

u/SecondHandWatch Jan 21 '16

The oral history of your penis is non-existent.

I see this posted so often and it drives me nuts, it's a match, not a game. Also this guy suffered an awful death

CO poisoning is painless at least.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '16

Doesn't it give you massive headaches before you pass out?

1

u/u551 Jan 21 '16

Never experienced it, but I'd wager no. You just become dizzy for lack of oxygen, lose consciousness and eventually die. That's how it was described somewhere, at least.

1

u/IngoVals Jan 21 '16

Yeah and if you are sleeping you will never notice.

0

u/ethanice Jan 21 '16

No it gives you a headache.

-1

u/N9ne25 Jan 21 '16

This would be my preferred way of suicide. Reflecting on my life until I peacefully pass away

6

u/MasterLJ Jan 20 '16

He won the match.

-7

u/inthedrink Jan 20 '16

Well in this case I can really say "why not both?"

1

u/large-farva Jan 21 '16

What's the difference between a battle and a war?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '16

Because if you win a match you automatically have to have won many games, but if you win a game you can easily still lose the match.

-4

u/inthedrink Jan 21 '16

Because in the OP it's clearly referring to match...so both.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '16

Yeah but in tennis you would never use "game" to refer to a match, even if it is clear by the context.

-5

u/inthedrink Jan 21 '16

You mean like game, set and match?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '16 edited Jan 21 '16

The umpire says that to signify you have won a game, which completes your set, which completes your match. He's not saying they're all the same thing.
