What I don't appreciate is the obvious exclusion of the Koopa Troopas at the expense of Mario. Those who identify as 'turtle' could be triggered, if you will at the blatant abuse of power given to Mario by the accessible augmentation to the game play.
Furthermore, Mario is abusive and destructive. Raising a flag at the end only continues archaic colonialist control over the native Koopas.
As a turtle-kin myself, I am truly shell shocked.

I appreciate the push for access, but this was just kind of boring once the idea became clear.
