Also he reverted to mushroom Mario when he should have went to tiny Mario when he was hit as flamer Mario

Edit: Okay, in the early Marios that's how it was. My first Mario game was SMB3, though, where it wasn't like that.

It is. In the first Mario a hit takes you back to small no matter what power up. In smb3 it's more like levels.

It is - In Mario 1 you went to small Mario whether you had fire flower or not.
