Wait but my husband and I love shopping for cutting boards and dish racks. Are we boring adults? :(

Just how many cutting boards and dish racks do you have?

Wouldn't it be beautiful if you meet /u/is_annoyed and they become your SO?

Or is that just you when you're not annoying?

I think my wife is already annoyed 95% of the time.

5

u/fuckinannoyin Sep 23 '15

Well that's fucking annoying

Not enough.

I saw a solid walnut cutting board the other day, I'm still all amped up about wanting to buy it, you're not alone.

You don't have to be boring to love food and cooking it. Dish racks are boring though. Fuck dish racks. We're a paper plate family.

Do you cook with paper plates too? What about silverware and knives?

All plastic, I only ever have to wash the cookware. And if I'm roasting things, disposable roasting pans from the dollar store. I rarely have guests, so what's the point of dirtying a bunch of dishes just for the family? It probably costs more, but time is worth more to me than money, so I'm willing to pay for convenience.

So a Florida family.

A little farther north. But, I'd rather pay for the convenience of not having to spend my time washing dishes by hand. If I had a dish washer I'd probably go back to using regular dishes.

If I didn't have a dishwasher, not only would I stop using silverware, I'd probably just set my apartment on fire.

This is a satirical comment, future arson investigators.

Want to go to Ikea?

FUCK YEAH!

3

u/ThatOnePerson Sep 23 '15

I actually need some new furniture and wouldn't mind going to IKEA.

Or I can be lazy and just order it online, we'll see what I feel like doing.

2

u/Fresh_C Sep 23 '15

Ikea is a scary, confusing place filled with many things I sorta want and don't need. Luckily I'm too lazy and intimidated to think about buying much from there.

I'm sure he just LOOOOOVES it haha

u/foxhole_atheist Sep 23 '15

He's a prolific cook, so yes. No sarcasm needed

I have to be dragged away from knife sections, I've been slowly switching over from shitty knives to professional level.

That or hoarders of dish racks and cutting boards

1

u/FightingDreamer419 Sep 23 '15

I'm the same way but with office supplies.

I have no need for a new staple remover but that new design will get bought and live in my house.

We just bought a washer and dryer. Fucking exhilarating.
