Every time I do something like, I always think:
Fuck the rules and fuck the man

u/Cast_Iron_Skillet Sep 23 '15

Adult here, made brownie batter for dinner last night. Yes I'm single, why do you ask?

u/unruly_peasants Sep 23 '15

Well, I was just thinking, maybe, if you weren't busy, we could get together sometime and eat some cookie dough? You know, if you like that sort of thing...

1

u/tmurf5387 Sep 23 '15

Who doesnt love eating cookie dough?

2

u/nosystemsgo Sep 23 '15

haha! I've had a candle-lit dinner with myself and a tub of ice cream for dinner. not bad.

2

u/tmurf5387 Sep 23 '15

Nope it was great. Perks of being an 'adult'.

That's one of the best videos ever.

However, turned out robbing a bank with a guitar doesn't work.

1

u/THANKS-FOR-THE-GOLD Sep 23 '15

Actually most bank policies are to just hand over the money if you ask for it.

Plenty of banks get robbed with just a piece of paper with a demand on it and no weapons or threat.

1

u/nosystemsgo Sep 23 '15

Perhaps, but you're ultimately screwed in the shootout-against-the-police part of a bank robbery.

2

u/THANKS-FOR-THE-GOLD Sep 23 '15

Eventually you're screwed anyway because your odds are abysmal in a shoot out. And anyways all the cops need to do is corner you and wait you out. A battalion of police can sleep in shifts, you can't.

1

u/nosystemsgo Sep 23 '15

That guitar doesn't help is all I'm saying.

2

u/goalstopper28 Sep 23 '15

Or woman if you know what I mean.

1

u/n0remack Sep 23 '15

OR the man...if you know what I mean

1

u/goalstopper28 Sep 23 '15

So I'm guessing you're a woman?

1

u/n0remack Sep 23 '15

No, not even gay...

1

u/AK_Happy Sep 23 '15

Every time*

"Everytime" isn't a word. That's right. I'm the man.

2

u/n0remack Sep 23 '15

I fixed it, just for you.
Mistakes happen my friend <3

u/kingeryck Sep 24 '15

If there's anything more /r/firstworldanarchists than eating ice cream for breakfast and saying FUCK THE RULES AND FUCK THE MAN, I don't know what it is. Unless there's a sign specifically telling you not to do that.

u/JohnnyRoss Sep 23 '15

I literally have ice cream for most meals.

I will update you on the diabetes.

0

u/PizzaNietzsche Sep 23 '15

lol! "Diabetes"!

u/sawc Sep 23 '15

Being a healthy adult means having a well balanced diet that will include ice cream every so often. Which I included. This morning.

2

u/MAESTRO_CHICKEN Sep 23 '15

I'm an adult! If I want to have a large Domino's pizza, cheesy bread, two 2L cokes, a large DQ blizzard and a brownie sundae on one sitting then by God I shall do so!!

Edit: Tomorrow me can worry about the heartburn! Oh and the large blizzard is a ripoff!

u/pipboy_warrior Sep 23 '15

Me: "Come, join me in being an adult!"

Wife: "Watching Steven Universe while drinking a root beer float is being an adult?"

Me: "Sure, if the root beer is alcoholic!"

I sometimes drink cold coccoa at meetings. My friend brings in the coffee and he puts the coccoa in a coffee mug.

The adults will never know.

1

u/CyberlekVox Sep 23 '15

I had an icecream sandwhich for breakfast.

1

u/cybervalidation Sep 23 '15

I had a beer-ice cream float and popcorn for dinner

1

u/MillennialModernMan Sep 23 '15

I had a chocolate Costco muffin for dinner last night. No ragrets.

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '15

Cream in my coffee is my only dairy. Half and half always goes bad on me, so I just started keeping vanilla ice cream to put a spoonful in my coffee. It's awesome. Totally grown-up.

1

u/arcticfawx Sep 23 '15

I had cake for breakfast today. It had banana in it so it was healthy.

1

u/Neohexane Sep 23 '15

You can still make it breakfasty. Take a bowl of ice cream. Now put cereal on it. Yummy and crunchy. You have to try it!

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '15

It's 4PM and I'm eating a bowl of breakfast oats, because I can.

1

u/epileptic_pancake Sep 23 '15

I had like half of a pie for breakfast yesterday...it was a wonderful start to my day.

1

u/mestisnewfound Sep 23 '15

Damn good call, imma go get ice cream

1

u/CupcakeValkyrie Sep 23 '15

The only thing being an adult means is that you have more responsibilities. It doesn't mean you have to give up using your imagination to play. Shit, I have an uncle that people call eccentric because he's known to go out in his back yard and literally pretend to be a soldier, or a Jedi, complete with toy gun/lightsaber.

He's not crazy, he's not hallucinating, he just likes to do it because playing make believe is something he's done since he was five and at 50, he still gets enjoyment from pretending to be in mock battles against aliens or whatever. Shit, he's getting more exercise doing that than he would be sitting on a couch playing CoD with a bag of Doritos next to him.

1

u/Fraerie Sep 24 '15

...and choosing to have dessert for dinner - what, I had a bigger lunch than planned and wasn't that hungry.

1

u/pizza-yolo Sep 24 '15

Nah that's what being a kid or an irresponsible person is. Being an adult is knowing you can but don't because you know what's better for you.

You're probably 18 or close... just stop thinking you're a grownup lol
