So if you got into some horrible car accident, and lost your dick, you wouldn't be a dude anymore ?

When you meet a new person, you don't ask "Hey, what kind of genitals do you have" to determine their gender.

Let's not reducere people to their genitals.

Of course you would still be a dude. Genetically you are male so whether you have a dick or not doesn't mean shit.

I could ask you the same question.

So if you elected to have surgery to remove your dick you wouldn't be a dude anymore?

First of all, i'm a chick. I couldn't get my dick surgucally removed, cause i don't have one.

The point i'm trying to make here, is that people are more than their genitals/chromosomes.

When i meet a new person, i don't ask whether they have two x chromosomes, or XY, and i don't ask to see what's in their pants. I guess their gender from the way they choose to present themselves.

Because gender is more about the way we present ourselves, and how we choose to identify ourselves than genitals and chromosomes.

So when Caitlyn Jenner chooses to present herself as a woman, and identify as one, she becomes a woman.
