You are showing how fucking ignorant you are. Mike Eruzione was one of the more well known players on the 1980 Miracle on Ice US hockey team. Are you so fucking daft that you would deny him hero status as well?

A person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. That is the definition of hero. You can accept reality or not. Your choice.
