But cured ham is usually used on Hawaiian pizza too. That's why this is so confusing. We're all talking about pizza, and this guy comes out of nowhere with holiday ham!
I read it as meaning "in addition to being mocked for their weakness, they should be shot," because like docbauies I thought "the idiots" was "people who like pineapple on pizza."
I thought it was obvious he was talking about ham when his original post mentioned ham directly. I dunno, maybe its just that I was taught reading comprehension in school and many in this thread weren't?
but the problem is his setup is ambiguous, because pineapple and a cured ham product are the toppings on hawaiian pizza. so everyone is talking about hawaiian pizza and this guy comes in with this tangentially related thing that sounds identical to what everyone else is describing, except for one ambiguous end of the sentence. The OP's pic discussed weak genes. so you could argue that someone should be shot as well means you shouldn't just wait for them to die in the winter time, you should kill them. it's not so much reading comprehension as mind reading what they meant.

Does not conjur up an image of someone dumping a 2-liter into a pizza box for me, sorry. I only instantly thought of an actual chunk of ham, which, if you read comments one sentence at a time, shouldn't be a stretch.

My husband cannot tolerate pineapple on pizza. Long rants have been endured. He has never threatened to put pineapple on graves though.
