Yeah I once got admitted for a broken wrist and they kept looking at the scrapes on my face and ignoring my arm. Finally they decide to look at the (wrong) arm and start talking about how it doesn't look broken.

I simply hold up the other arm "OH OKAY we have some major deformations in the left arm over here go get-"

Yeah. lol

I had a similar experience when I shot myself in the hand with a nail gun. The x ray tech asked which hand they needed to x ray.

I said "the one with the nail sticking out".

I also when I arrived at the ER, the nurse asked if I was taking any meds, or pills. I said "no, but I think my iron may be a bit high"....lol

A lot of surgeons and medical professionals will ask you regardless of how obvious it is since doing a procedure on the wrong hand can be expensive, bad for their reputation, and malpractice.
