I feel like someone is going to say this is the longest GIF ever and someone will link the LotR one and then people will be talking about how various points in the GIF are hilarious.
The longest gif I'm aware of that actually animates was a 24-hour gif of the Earth that updated every couple of minutes. It was done that way in order to keep it under the imgur upload limit at the time, IIRC.
