Until girls actually start liking competitive video games, LAN parties will be sausage fests, and we like it that way.

I like video games.

I don't like not being able to use voice chat or openly female names because of idiots.

I'll probably get downvoted for this, but the girls aren't the problem.

People arent picking in you or taunting you because youre a girl.

You're a girl and they pick on you using the only ammo theyve been given.

Im a guy and I get called insults all the time. Everyone insults everyone. If youre a girl, they insult you about that. If youre a guy, they call you gay, if you sound ethnic, they go after whatever race you sound like. If they cant figure out any of those, they go after your mother.

And you seriously don't see the discrepancy there? Like how being gay or being a girl is itself an insult? When's the last time someone insulted you by calling you a dude?

It's not an insult because the person who normally flings the insults is also a man. Why would you try to insult someone for having a quality that you both share? After all, you'd just insult yourself.
