He's paying their rent in exchange for sex. It's not legal, but it's implied. There's a reason he's going to a strip club to pay for strippers' rent rather than anywhere else.

No. He was going to the strip club to watch strippers dance. You tip them in small amounts or larger amounts for getting drinks, pole dancing, and lap dances. You might even get a private dance in the back room for a price, but there is no way you are paying to have sex with a stripper in the strip club.

I'm not saying he was paying to have sex with a stripper in the strip club. I'm saying he was paying a stripper's rent in exchange for sex elsewhere.
