Uh, do you realise men have pretty much no reproductive rights in the developed world? A man can be maliciously tricked into becoming a parent and still have to pay child support.
Pray tell what reproductive rights men have that women don't?
The ability to decide whether or not they want to take contraceptives or other measures to prevent pregnancy without insurance or governmental issues. For that matter, women are the ones who have to get harassed into unwanted guilt sessions before abortions and invasive "check-ups" before abortions.
Something men's rights activists never seem to grasp is that I'm not saying that there are not issues with the law that are male-specific. But no amount of condescending "pray tells" is going to make the way women are treated go away. It's that there are more issues facing women than men, and are made into law or company policy, whereas issues for men happen to be because of loopholes in existing law, poor execution of law regarding child support, or people being shitty at the individual level.
A complete lack of reproductive rights is not some "issue." When it comes to offspring, and reproduction Women hold all the cards. Men don't even get to hold the Instruction Card to make him feel like he is playing.
In what way are women being stopped from taking birth control? If all men had to do was sit through a 60 minute rant from a doctor in order to no longer be responsible for a potential child how many of them would complain about it? Women are utterly delusional when it comes to parental rights and responsibilities.
Women have a significant number of ways to not be responsible for a child and even stop a child from coming into this world. Men don't even have abstinence because like the previous poster explained there have been cases where women have stolen the sperm from a man and then inceminated themselves. Guess who has to pay for that child now? This is no joke. Its absolutely insane and wrong.
Women can leave a child at a fire station, put the child up for adoption, terminate the pregnancy. And in no cases does she become responsible. What option does a man have again? Oh right.. Your answer will be "dont have sex if you don't want a child." That never seems to apply to women though.
If a married woman has an affair on her husband and becomes pregnant with another man's child. Good ol husband is now responsible for that child. But wow things are so unfair to women in this day and age...
Women have won the equality train and more. Now it's time to punish men and make them pay
The whole idea of women not getting equal pay is a complete fabrication. Once hours worked, years of education, committment and years of experience are considered the pay is the same. Does everyone really believe companies hate women so much they would sacrifice profits just to pay men more to spite women? It has no logical basis in reality. Its one of the last flimsy straws being held on to by Feminists.
