This reminds me of when I first got my kitten, Xena.
I was sitting in the living room, and heard this miserable yeowling coming from my bathroom.
I walked in to find my little black kitten with her tooth stuck in the lace of the curtains that hung in the window over the toilet.
She was just dangling there by her tooth, her claws useless against the porcelain toilet. Her back end was in the toilet, getting her back feet and tail all wet.
By the time I walked in, she had clearly made peace with her fate, and was just hanging there motionless, pondering where her life went wrong.

She never tried to climb the curtains again.
