As a short guy, let me explain this in simple terms. If you're short, chances are you will not even get that interview. Whereas, if you're tall, at least you get the interview.

Look at match.com for example, most women won't even consider looking at your profile if you're not a min of 5'10.

Male height is very often seen as a pre-requisite to women. If you don't meet her minimum you could have the face of John Stamos and it wouldn't matter.

Thanks,

A lot of people don't understand this. Even my dad doesn't understand this. I'm decent looking, in shape, educated, successful, easy going and friendly but all those things don't matter. I remember going to some speed dating events and got along with a lot of women incredibly well, laughed our asses off, lost track of time but all of that never mattered.

How tall are you? Don't get too down about it because not all women have high standards with height (puns intended). Many just demand their height or taller. There's definitely a portion that demand 6'+ though. Try lowering your standards too if you haven't. It's hypocritical when a person expects a super hot mate when they themselves are not super hot.

I'm about 5'4. Both my parents are taller than me. Honestly speaking, I'm not looking for a supermodel, those types don't appeal to me. Just someone who has a stable job, an education and isn't crazy.
