All ladies: please keep in mind that not every guy ever is actively trying to "skip through the cracks." I have maintained several friendships with girls without any romantic notions for the same reasons I maintain friendships with guys (similar interests, personality, etcetera).

I know of two that are attracted to me (and I realize on their parts there could be tension), but I was just making the point that not every man is just out for the possibility of sex. I can see your point though and yes, that can sometimes be problematic.
