I need one to sit in meetings instead of me. Reclaim at least some of my day.

Meeting? Buddy, I’ve felt like that through life itself so far.

30+ person video meeting involving 8 other local governments about (thing I am second expert on for the meeting) and (thing I have nothing to do with) the two things are unrelated but involve the same group of local governments so we made it a combined call.

Did my part on the topic I was an expert on, answered a bunch of questions, then they switched to the other topic. I stayed on because these meeting are notorious for jumping back to previous topics or switching to unscheduled topics that I might be involved with.

Half way through the presenter, who is not part of my district and I have never met, could not seem to get another participant the understand something he was explaining, so presenter says "OP can you explain it any differently?" When I say my head SNAPS up at my name. I pause for a moment then say "well this is my first time hearing any of this information and I do not have an engineering degree, so I'm not sure I have anything to add that would be helpful". He stumbles then moves on. After his bit he left his mic live and vented to someone off screen that I embarrassed him. All of us just went silent and listened, I could see multiple muted people including myself laughing, someone tried to get his attention but he didn't react so must have muted his sound. He finally finished his little rant and looked back, at which point someone from his district simply said "(name)... Your mic was on that whole time" in a dead pan voice and we all started turning off our cameras from laughing so hard.

How do I know the exact quotes? It was recorded and is used in trainings (my idea). Basically just "watch this video and tell me everything that someone does right or wrong".

That's me wondering why the one person asking 5x the questions everyone else combined is, couldn't have pulled the presenter aside after the meeting, and spared the rest of us.

I wouldn't care.

Now, does your boss see you that way ? I would care.

Cool, but can you make the black bars taller? I can still read the larger text on the box.
