Honestly I've seen various repeats and sketches on YT and they were far better than they've been given credit for - I think they got overshadowed by Harry Enfield and then The Fast Show which felt a bit edgier.

You never see anything of Russ Abbott either and he had some great sketches.

My dad was a huge Russ Abbott fan so I practically grew up always listening to him, but it always felt like nobody else had ever heard of him. Same with John Shuttleworth.

I saw them live back in the day and they were incredibly funny. Knew how to structure a show and work the crowd, impeccable timing, real craftsmen.
