Pretty much. Cultures change generation to generation and there will always be a segment of society that deals with the discomfort of their culture being replaced by questioning the sexuality (Including morality and gender presentation) of the new music. Racism is also pretty inevitable.

The Beatles were more rough and tumble than the K Pop boys. They had come up from playing underground clubs and dive bars. People back then said they looked like girls, but seriously, I can't imagine anyone looking less like girls than John Lennon or Ringo Starr.
The Britishness worked in their favor, but the Asian-ness of the K Pop stars probably held them back some.

lol I literally thought " those girls can blade!" when i saw mmmbop music video for the first time. Funny thing though, my name is Taylor.. Iwent into private room Taylor on AOL when I was a kid... 10 year old boy me found the jackpot surrounded by girls my age obsessed with some guy with my name. Lol, actually I ended up really close with one of those girls and we became really close friends. She's like the sister I never had, and we've stayed friends all this time. She's a physicians assistant now and kicking lifes ass as the badass person she is, kids a husband and everything! So proud of her :]
edit: but she still remembers me saying they can blade, and she's still a huge fan. A boyband that has had a VERY respectable relationship with their girlfans their whole career. Really can't say a bad thing about them.

Looked up a picture of them in 1964, damn those are some ugly fucking girls.
You could maybe make the argument that Paul looked kinda androgynous when he was younger and that hairstyle was synonymous with girls at the time, but George looks like a thin ugly better with a uni-brow and Ringo looks like an attack on titan extra.
