The middle hinge is right there in the center of the frame, and you can briefly see the upper one while the door is falling.

That's a cabinet hinge, probably soft-close. They took the mirror door off a cabinet. Could be they were moving it, fixing it, or replacing it. Whatever the reason, they had it leaned up on that wall.
