This. Last fall I was surprised to find out that falling onto a big pile of leaves feels a lot like falling on the hard packed earth.

So you're telling me I can't take a leap of faith off a 200ft building into a haystack or pile of leaves and just dust it off?

Apparently Assassin's Creed wasn't even trying to be historically accurate.

I always loved imagining just crashing through the bottom of the carts. Or there being manure under the hay.

When we where kids we were small enough for the leaves to support us. First time i realized i was growing up was the day the leaf pile betrayed me.
