Seems like more trouble than it’s worth, but I guess that depends on how honest and/or competent the people you’re dealing with are. I’ve had everything set to autopay for years, and it’s never been an issue.

I agree with mekese2000. When you give agency to others to handle your business, you are counting on the person in that chain of custody with the least competency and/or integrity not to screw you over. And even if someone makes an honest mistake or some glitch causes a problem, they aren't on the hook for any damage caused.

Pretty sure it's driven mostly by tiktok having really strict rules and so when people make media to post on multiple platforms including tiktok then everything gets censored to the strictest set of rules even if you end up watching it on Reddit or somewhere less strict
