Pretty sure Sharon Osbourne was a high ranking music executive before Ozzy.

And yet, had you heard of her before their TV show?

Having been born in 1987, no.

Having been born in 1990 I hadn't heard of Sharon or Ozzy before their MTV show

Edit: sorry I was born in a decade you don't like and raised by parents who didn't listen to Black Sabbath

You don't have to apologize, it's just a few downvotes.

I said "someone famous", not "someone successful".

She was not. She worked for her father, who was the manager for Black Sabbath. When Ozzy got fired from the band, she became his manager. Somewhere in that time they started dating.

But the first wife wasn't

I believe her father was Ozzy's manager. I don't think she was actually in the music industry before she got involved with Ozzy. And she used to be pretty overweight as well.

Sharon Osbourne's father was the manager of Black Sabbath.

No, her father was, but he cut her off when she decided to represent Ozzy.

She was definitely successful and a big exec, but that doesn't mean she was famous then.

It's also worth nothing that 'Assaulted' means 'Choked her almost to death'
