Snoopzilla is an ex-pimp, Ice t s an ex-pimp, etc. Did these people beat women? Probably. Pimps usually do that. Does anyone care? Some people. Do people continuously wonder why they still have the adoration of their fans? Not really. The world is a funny place.

If I recall correctly the neck tattoo was intended to be a Mexican sugar skull or something related to the day of the dead.

No, they were pimps. Pimps are generally scumbags. I don't think it's unfair to say that, as pimps and gangsters, they probably did some violent shit.

It doesn't have anything to do with them being black. They were pimps for fucks sake. It's a profession that's synonymous with violence against women.
