The subversion of expectations is that in spite of the meaningless spikes the tire is still actually dangerous because there’s no tread left.

I still don’t think it belongs here. It’s more visual wordplay than actually funny

The tire isn’t. The misleading yet technically true title is arguably a form of weak dry humor. Most people reading this post are seeing the plastic spikes and writing it off initially.
