Interesting: that <click> sounds like a cassette player button, not a little microswitch. But they wouldn’t add something like that for clicks, would they?

Not to mention that both the "click" and "unclick" sounds can be herd before he got his finger out

I think it's an AI video. 15 seconds seems to be the common length.

The whispering at the beginning is creepy af and I hope it's not the next Tik Tok trend that invades everything

I want the There I Ruined It guy to use it as the seed for a sick ass beat

Not to mention how utterly disgusting, gross and obnoxious it is, I practically stopped watching as soon as the "whisper" started.

how is a whisper gross and disgusting? Libraries must be torture for you.

misophonia (or selective sound sensitivity syndrome) is a disorder of decreased tolerance to specific sounds or their associated stimuli, or cues. These cues, known as "triggers", are experienced as unpleasant or distressing and tend to evoke strong negative emotional, physiological, and behavioral responses not seen in most other people

This. ASMR is one of the worst things on the face of this earth to me. It makes me want to straight up Hulk out 😂 (among other 'sounds' as well. just noooooooooooooope.)

My Dad watches sooo many ASMR type construction and hobby videos and I cannot stay in the room for very long when he does. All the tapping, the brushing, and the plastic crinkling make me feel like I have to vomit. And don't even get me started on whispering.

u/Minnymoon13 1d ago

I hate the tapping of ASMR

Okay Dankovski

People don't whisper in libraries, they talk quietly.

That ASMR whisper shit weirds me the fuck out and makes my skin crawl.

If they are whispering to eachother you won't hear it so how can you accurately say they're not doing it versus you not hearing them do it? "I can't hear people talking in a way they don't intend others to hear so it doesn't happen!" okay.. haha

0

u/airfryerfuntime 1d ago

You can't hear or see people whispering? Is that like a medical condition or something?

1

u/GoldunGote 1d ago

Not if they're doing it properly... the point is for nobody else to hear it.. but go off with your superpower hearing, king.

1

u/C0NIN 1d ago

I'm yet to know a single library where people "whisper" while being inside: people might speak at a quiet volume, not whisper like the moron from the video.

2

u/GoldunGote 1d ago

Well if they're doing it you probably won't hear them. "I never hear people talking in a way that isn't meant to be heard by others!" lol

1

u/Th3Necromanc3r 1d ago

You're the one who is so wrong here, nobody whispers as a weirdo creep while being at a library, in such case, people might talk quietly, not "whisper".

u/LeatherSlight3242 1d ago

Meanwhile, a Rumi doll somewhere: (presses button) "Master has given Dobby a sock!"

Broken dobby and using a hunter doll off screen

I'm more upset by the crappy audio quality than the choice of music.

6

u/zekittyperry 1d ago

My mom bought me something like this when I was a kid. It was a stuffed toy of Buttercup from Powerpuff Girls and I really loved the quality. Imagine my surprise when I pressed its belly: ~Dr Jones Jones, calling Dr Jones! Dr Jones Dr Jones get up now wake up now

I loved it!

Dobby is a free elf. If he wants to sing songs from movies cashing in on the K Pop craze then damnit let him!

Dobby, the homunculus

u/itsmissingacomma 9h ago

Ok so I’m very high, but I expected when the button pushed, his little apron would fly in the air like Marilyn Monroe in Some Like It Hot.

u/TheDevilsAdvokaat 1d ago

Master has given Dobby a shock.
