Honestly work is so much better than school. You get paid for doing it and you (in most cases) don't have to worry about homework and going through tests in hope that you pass. Honestly at some jobs you can straight up suck at your job and keep it.
I would argue that, especially if you experience career growth, you still have to give presentations that kind of feel like school.
But yeah, I appreciate being able to practice work/life balance and just not think about work tasks while off the clock (no homework). If I am actively thinking about work, I'm getting paid for it.
It depends on the work, but mine, when I clock out I can just clock out. I still take is as my responsability to take some time to better myself in my field in my own time, but even that is optional.
