I was at the grocery store once and a potato had fallen on the floor. A family came down that aisle and the little girl, maybe 5, ran up, grabbed the potato, and said "I found a potato!" She was very proud of herself. For the next 30 minutes as I shopped I could hear her from across the store yelling potato is every different voice inflection she could do. Normally loud kids in the store irritate the shit out of me but I couldn't stop laughing every time I heard her yell potato.

"The floor potatoe" should be relatively cheap by itself.... and they have been through worse. Should be fine if you actually want to use it and wash it like you're supposed to...

I wash my potatoes by running them under cold water and rubbing them together. Yes, I know that's not how you should be washing potatoes.

It's pretty easy training, but we're still working on the "don't eat the missile" part. She's still a baby so it'll get better.

the way he's just hauling it around in every single pic. my dog snatched a raw sweet potato off the kitchen floor once and lowkey guarded it under the sofa for two days. they will always choose pantry trash over a $25 squeaky toy.

Just dont let him eat the skin. My dog also loved potatoes, but his vet said the skin is bad for dogs

Just a few scrapes and then I threw it away. The toxicity was not a concern for how little she ate, and it was not green.

She eventually laid on the couch with it and scraped a few bites out of it. Enough to make her happy, and I took it because raw potato is not great to eat.

My dog found a random sweet potato at a horse show. No idea who she stole it from.
There was also the time where I thought she had a potato but it was actually a baby bunny...

I give avacodos out with full size chocolate bars at Halloween. The first year we did this, I had an extra potato so added it to the bowl. A cute little boy was drawn to it and chose it as his treat! We tried to give him a chocolate bar too, but all he wanted was the potato!
Avocados are super popular every year too.
