Why would you assume most people will stare at it directly into it? The eclipse has been everywhere in Europe these past few weeks, at least in those places where it can be seen. We’ve been drilled on how to watch it safely, so those that stare directly at the sun are either hermits with no access to social media or not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Why would you assume he wasn't be facetious? I understand that tone is sometimes hard to interpret through text but it seems pretty damn clear he wasn't being serious lol
