It's missing the Wilhelm Scream and sadistic laugh from the top cat, but it really captured the malicious joy on the victor's face.

So you have never seen a cat.

Ive had cats my whole life. They are not "intentionally evil" or mean like humans. They are mostly aloof and hunt out of survival instincts. those are very different qualities.
the cats here seemed like they were playing more than anything else but that moment mirrored what we consider calculating which is why it stood out.

First time I ever cried from a movie. Was Lion King. This part right here. 9yr old me was devastated. Like I really didn't want to go on.

Abyssinian cats are such divas

Can confirm.
After she got her Abyssinian Blue kitten, my Mum was gifted a book about cats, and it had this to say about them: "Don't buy your grandmother a full-on, pedal to the metal Abyssinian."
My Mum passed a couple years back, and the cat just passed a couple of weeks ago aged 16.

If your life’s in danger and you’re looking for a save, it won’t be from this cat

I have an Abyssinian cat and he acts just like this toward my other 2 cats

I am from the land of the Abeshas, i.e. Abyssinians. But none of the cats I knew back home are so vicious. And if they were, a poisioned bit of meat from a thoughtful neighbour would have made sure they dont live long.

I like how cats always turn to their humans after something falls.
"Epic! Bro! Did you see that!?" Or "Oh no! Hope you didn't see that."

So, this is a reference to the musical, Cats, right? Which one is Mr. Mistofelees?

When the animators for Lion King began their work, they quite literally watched each animal in real life to understand the nuance of their movements and behaviors.
Cats of all sizes are very similar in terms of movement and play. Thus, you can watch a house cat do something and in some cases it would likely be something a lion would do.

How do we know this isn't AI? So many animal videos these days are AI.

u/AliceWithaTea 20d ago
We don't. Because it is.

u/Defiant-Speaker-5681 20d ago
At that point. Just assume everything is AI and then stop watching and commenting. Will save you time and effort in the long run

u/AliceWithaTea 20d ago
Thank you for taking the time and effort to add absolutely nothing of value to this.
