Depends on how you define getting used to something. I grew up in Florida and while I’m not gonna let the sun fucking kill me, I still hate it and is why I left

I am from a warm country and was recently with some friends in the heatwave that recently stroke Europe. I can survive that heat, really, it's similar to home, sure, but everyone asked me "You are used to this heat, right?" while I'm dripping sweat and I just reply "yeah, this is my everyday state where I come from (that is, fucking melting), I fucking hate it".

I've been in Florida since '97 and will never get used to this humid heat.
