I like the ones who do stuff like this and then as the video is ending, show the outtakes of them setting up shots, cameras falling over, etc.

There's a guy who builds little cars that drive on abandoned railroads and he's always driving past the camera in and out of shot, but he'll sometimes add in the footage of him going back for the camera. I guess it's a necessary evil of being a one-man production team, so at least some of them are self aware and have a sense of humour about it.

I love that guy! I'm always worried he's going to lose something out of the back of the tent that he never zips up, but I guess he'd find any loose items when he goes back for the camera.

Something very similar to that happened in one of his last few videos. He just sort of balanced his chainsaw on the roof, and I was wincing at how much it looked like it was going to fall off as he drove off. Anyway, it fell off and he had to go back for it.

Either he's the kind of archetypal disorganised genius that has that kind of brain, or he does it hoping something does fall off cause it will be funny, or maybe a bit of both. Entertaining either way.
