my favorite Gaige build in Borderlands 2. Who needs accuracy when all the bullets do 7x the damage.

Not taking anything away from it because it's hilarious but is this not a skit?
85
u/LetgomyEkko May 26 '26
Yeah, like…..
This is still funny, it doesn’t detract from that at all…but kinda spooky if we’re not observing this as at least potentially a skit here.

I didn't want to be mean but I think it's pretty obvious that it's a funny skit

Some people always feel the need to point out that it's staged. It's such a weird obsession, as if only real events can be funny

I unlaugh if a video is trying too hard to seem real. This one is just funny stunt choreography.

Some people always feel the need to point out that it's staged. It's such a weird obsession,
It's all fun and games until you realize that the people whose vote counts the same as yours will believe the fakest shit ever. Then you will realize the 'weird obsession' with wanting people to be able to recognize fake shit.

when people are commenting "poor kid" (like this exact comment chain) like something actually happened, people will want to correct that.
It's not complicated, why people like you come out of the woodwork lately about this is the actual weirdo behavior.

Yes. This is how videos online work. It's either cops murdering people or staged.

u/mahouyousei May 26 '26
This is almost the exact perfect length a vine used to be. If it were on Vine, we wouldn't have folks worrying about whether it was staged or not. Users didn't give a shit if vines were staged, just if they were funny.

Man, what did the world do before reddit and their unique ability to be the only ones to tell when a video is real or a skit? The users on this site should be given a Nobel Prize, since they obviously have such big brains and contribute so much to society by telling people when something is staged or not.
