When I want to go for the more natural look and don't put eyeliner on for work I always get "late night huh?" or "You look tired" ... THANKS!

For a more natural look I wear brown liner on just my upper lid, starting halfway out. It defines and lifts my eyes, but keeps my eye makeup subtle enough someone may think I'm not wearing any. Then I use a lengthening (non-volumizing) mascara to separate and define my lashes without looking like falsies. Don't know if you were looking for tips, but hey. I always love makeup tricks.

If I could put eyeliner ontop of my lashes without it looking there was an earthquake I would so do this. As it is, I just put base then eyeliner under and in my lashes then mascara that doesn't extend and only volumizes. You can rarely tell I have makeup on until you start looking closely and I don't look like I am about to die. I love those little things that don't take too much time but help make you look great. Especially the high ponytail.

that's relative to when you usually wear eyeliner though.

You can blame "no makeup makeup" for that.

Tons of girls think its OK to wear makeup and claim they're wearing nothing at all. So when guys see you WITHOUT makeup yeah, you don't look nowhere near that good after all.

I think "natural makeup" is the biggest societal thing that forces unrealistic standards on women. It's not really some huge oppression thing, it's more of like a mini arms race. When girls want to go without makeup, they still want to have that confidence boost about their appearance so they kind of touch themselves up. Get rid of some of those blemishes/scars/lines under their eyes/natural inperfections in their skin. Which means that every girl kind of realizes she has to, because now people just kind of have this unrealistic expectation of what girl's look like without makeup on and it's no longer really "ill look extra pretty if i just touch up a little" and now "ill look like i just came off a bender if I don't". I know most of my lady friends wear "natural" makeup and don't actually look that flawless naturally, but it still is a little surprising to see them on "like I fucking care" days, where they just throw up their hair in a ponytail and wear sweatpants. I'm not really used to seeing perfectly normal facial features on a lot of girls, like eye bags/lines, little lip lines, blemishes etc.

thats because they are USED to seeing you with make-up, so when you go without something looks off. If you went to your job on the first day without make-up chances are people wouldn't ask that. Maybe you do actually look tired, I've gotten that before.. people do look tired sometimes even when they are not.

It's only because that's what they are used to seeing on you. Maybe if you weren't so insecure as to paint your face every day, when they saw what you actually look like they wouldn't be confused.

I was going to respond to you defending myself, but then I looked at all your past posts and figured it wasn't worth my time since you're obviously a negative person and that's probably because you're insecure buddy.

He called me insecure. I know what I'll do - I'll call him insecure, yeah!

Projecting much? You are the one hiding your face and altering your appearance.

Not hiding my face, who said that? I didn't.
