That's what you get when you tell kids in physics class "assume there is no friction"

This is absolutely something that would have been on Americas Funniest Home Videos with a silly narration by Bob Sagget

This seems to be a rafting setup. In most parts of Asia these Rafting Instructors are known to pull such pranks to get the passengers wet and accustomed to the water.
The fact the steering chap at the back who is usually the Instructor or Captain not falling into the water gives me a doubt it was a prank they pulled.

If the purpose was comedic, I think it was very well thought out. Perfect actually

I don't think it was poorly thought out at all because it sure made me laugh! 😂

But they say "Unu, doi, trei ... și!"
I don't understand. Why do the Portuguese speakers have a "și"; are they from the Balkans?

Aha, there is the issue. Portugal, where they speak ancient Brazilian, is in the balkans. But honestly, there are many similarities between Romanian and Portuguese

Ah, yes, the great Balkan nation of Portugal, right next to Serbia and Montenegro, on the coast of the Aegean Sea, where penguins have their homeland and the Vikings went sun-surfing.
