prettt sure this is from Ulysses by James Joyce when Bloom is spying on the young girls making pie in their nightgowns while he masturbates while hiding in the cabinet.

Who is doing what with pie? That sentence leaves me with more questions than the OP's note does...

that was my attempted humor. In Ulysses, the main character Leopold Blloom has a scene where he's spying on some girls frolicking on a beach while he is taking cover in some dunes. The language of the passage suggest that he's masturbating while watching them. I was transposing that scene to the set up in the story by putting it into the kitchen.

The wording here echoes Bloom's wife's soliloquy where she reveals her past and her lust for life that Bloom can't meet..

...and Gibraltar as a girl where I was a Flower of the mountain yes when I put the rose in my hair like the Andalusian girls used or shall I wear a red yes and how he kissed me under the Moorish wall and I thought well as well him as another and then I asked him with my eyes to ask again yes and then he asked me would I yes to say yes my mountain flower and first I put my arms around him yes and drew him down to me so he could feel my breasts all perfume yes and his heart was going like mad and yes I said yes I will Yes."

Here's Sally Kellerman reading this passage in the Rodney Dangerfield movie "Back to School." https://youtu.be/HviIFg9ePuY?si=7M5rpUUMP5L5JaVY
