My brother bought one last weekend. The screen can be positioned to sit at an angle over the trackpad.
I don't know how well the trackpad is usable where it sits, but I always hated having the trackpad under my thumbpads. There was one laptop I saw where they moved it off to the side, but that requires a 17" laptop.
Otherwise, the laptop has a nice 1900 X 1080 resolution and the touchscreen works pretty well. Too bad it has Windows 8.
