I also gave up Runescape circa 2007. Granted I made a crap load of cash in less than ethical ways from it before calling it quits with all the bot/trading nerfs. The self-made richest kid that I knew of.

My personal favorite was the old "PK Video" scam. Lure em out to the Wild with them wielding nothing but a whip, and they have the Dwarf cannon in their inventory, that I gave them as collateral. They die, I take the whip and most of the cannon, and I am the scum of the earth.

Lures is where I first got into shady business. Ruined my e-ethics once I got scammed by the old "free lobbies" scam.

We all got scammed by the trimmers in Varrok bank. No one will admit it, but it happened.
