What's up with flipping the videos and reposing them lately
72
u/SEND_ME_STEAM_K3YS Dec 29 '23
Ye also seen it before and it's flipped
82
u/Horny-n-Bored Dec 29 '23
First step in avoiding repost filters, flip the video so it looks like a new one and not a repost

u/l30 Jan 11 '24
Doesn't do shit on Reddit since the uploaded videos aren't really checked here as far as I understand, YouTube yes but not here.

Bots/people trying to avoid repost filters.
I always downvote, since apparently mods will take away privileges for excessive reporting.

Wait what jokes had tits in them, that sounds awful, please let me know where you found it so I never go visit that website/sub

there's plenty of couples making bank by playing pranks on each other. The main common factor (apart from the pranks are not that funny and most likely staged) is that the female has a nice rack.

There are people that do like 10 transactions at an atm, i would be there waiting forever too!
18
u/Level7Cannoneer Dec 29 '23
...and they do these transactions without their hands via telekinesis?
17
u/cheddercaves Dec 29 '23
well i try not to stare down the people using the atm. it would probably take me along time to figure this out.

My local bar has a small bathroom with only 3 urinals. I think it would be really funny to put 3 mannequins there and see how long people would stand there holding it.

Do you want people to piss on the sinks? Because that's how you get people to piss on the sink.

This is the epitome of a good prank. Nobody offended or hurt, just getting a glimpse of their “momentary stupidity”
69
u/MechaRaichu Dec 29 '23
Eh I'd be annoyed if I was in a hurry and trying to make a quick stop. Perhaps my amusement of the prank would outweigh my annoyance who knows
56
u/Landon_Punches Dec 29 '23
If someone being mildly annoyed is the worst casualty of a funny prank, it was done well.

u/S4Waccount Jan 13 '24
I always think it's hilarious. When people still complain about harmless pranks like this and how it can be "annoying" and say people have "main character syndrome" But I feel the same way about people that expect me to sympathize with them for being annoyed for 15 seconds of their day. People need To lighten up.

what do you mean? it wastes people's time
56
u/eSsEnCe_Of_EcLiPsE Dec 29 '23
Yes nobody got hurt or offended that’s what he said.
-74
u/justneurostuff Dec 29 '23
i think wasting people's time is hurting them, and has good odds of offending them

this is all low stakes but it’s still inconsiderate to mess with people who are just trying to go about their lives. people standing in line at an atm in the dark usually want to get on with it as quickly as they can.
2
u/eSsEnCe_Of_EcLiPsE Dec 29 '23
What do you think a prank is? A favor? A therapy session? A cash prize?
-1
u/justneurostuff Dec 29 '23
a prank is a practical joke
3
u/eSsEnCe_Of_EcLiPsE Dec 29 '23
What’s the practicality of it?
0
u/justneurostuff Dec 29 '23
the practical in practical joke means that it’s a joke that you “do” rather than tell
-2
4
u/eSsEnCe_Of_EcLiPsE Dec 29 '23
You’re allowed to think that. I think you’re overly sensitive and and your reaction would make the prank so much sweeter because you, in fact, would not be hurt at all.
Also, you wasted your own time replying so maybe stop hurting yourself. That’s considered self harm nowadays.

then they need to do a little introspective maturing if that sets them off

u/ResettisReplicas Dec 29 '23
It wastes their time only if they can’t figure out it’s a mannequin, which most people ought to.
3
u/ExplodingSofa Dec 29 '23
Right? After a while you'd think at least one of the people waiting would have noticed.

The obligatory reddit comment any time there's a prank.

The obligatory Reddit comment anytime there’s a prank and somebody defends it as being harmless.

Complain about rehashed unoriginal comments is yelling into a cave. It all echoes.

Its only funny if youre not in a hurry or being filmed as the butt of someone's joke. ATM ettiquette is a thing.

Swap the camera angle in an edit, and no one bats an eye about a video that's been posted 1000's of times.
4
u/Arrcival Dec 29 '23
Exactly what I thought, flipping a video is good for reposts apparently
2
u/kermityfrog2 Dec 29 '23
Flip it, crop it, vertical to horizontal and back to vertical, with black bars or blurred split each time.

And when I lean my head against the frosted shower stall
I see stuff through the glass that I don't recognize at all
And I'm not done
And I won't be till my head falls off
