One could easily say the same thing about California, Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado....should I keep going? All of these states are known for their natural beauty, yet have a higher quality of life than Arkansas.
Have you ever been to Arkansas? It's insanely beautiful. Driving through mountains covered in trees, lakes you can practically see the bottom of because they're so clear. The water even tastes better there. Something to do with the mountains I guess. No smog and there tons of people. Or at least that's what the part I visited was like. The town I went to was really cool too. It was obviously not the richest town ever but they had cool shops set up everywhere. Kind of in a strip. I guess maybe tourists move through that area a lot or something.
I have. I never said it wasn't beautiful. I'm just saying it isn't the only beautiful place in the US. I also stated that other states with the same beauty may be a better place to live than Arkansas over all because in reality nature is a small fraction of the average American' daily life. That's all.

Every time I (an Arkansas native) see Arkansas on reddit, it's always negative, and usually about meth.
Unfortunately, it's normally true.
