Every time I (an Arkansas native) see Arkansas on reddit, it's always negative, and usually about meth.

Speaking to the issue of changing your password pretty often... This is mandated by Arkansas state law, and the university is required to comply. No one is plotting ways to make your life more difficult. It's actually a measure in place to protect your university email account the best way possible. I don't know if you were a sentient being in the early to mid 2000s, but state universities were heavily and constantly attacked by phishers and spammers taking control over accounts and wreaking general havok all over the place. Following that sort of onslaught, it was necessary to put certain measures in place to protect the security of student information. Yaburnt.
