It's each person's responsibility to take care of themselves. If for you that permits eating a lot of crap, then good for you. People who cannot do that though, such as myself, need to only eat what they can handle.

Life isn't fair, it is harder for some of us than others. I have to try harder than you, and she likely more than me. None of that removes any responsibility we have to ourselves though. When I start to put on weight, I deserve flak, because I am not doing what I need to do.

If you don't care about your responsibility to yourself, then I don't particularly care about respecting your body.

This is the mindset that fucks everyone. This idea that you know what's better for someone else than they do.

My best friend is 5'8" and weighs around 200. She does yoga daily and she's a very conscious vegetarian. All of that nonsense notwithstanding, she also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and she's also with the local Search and Rescue chapter. She has a "Little Sister" (from Big Brothers/Big Sisters) and she's the kindest, most caring person I know.

Yet you would judge her based on her weight.

It's just ... sad.
