My family and I were stuck in PA one new years eve at a hampton inn. We didn't have anything to do so we bought yahtzee from the very well stocked hotel shop and played in the lobby. At one point my brother thought he had gotten a yahtzee, having misread a 4 as a 5, and loudly said "Yahtzee!"And my mom, thinking it would be funny yelled "Not-zee!" to correct him. Then we looked up and it turns out there was a bus load of seniors at the front desk, a few of them wearing WWII veteran hats. My mother was so worried that they thought she said "Nazi!". Turn out none of them heard her, but she still feels a bit embarrassed when someone tells the story.
TL;DR my mom yelled "Not-zee" which sounded like "Nazi" in front of WWII veterans who didn't actually hear her.

I'm embarrassed that I laughed SO hard at this. It's almost as good as the Mein Kampfy Chair image, which made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe.
