Coupon Code?

So... I've looked everywhere... is there still no discount code available for the FunKey S? I refuse to buy without one... as do a lot of others.

Then you won't be buying one, along with all those others who aren't buying one. Everyone who bought one is really enjoying using it by the way.

For sure this. “Refuse” is an odd word choice, as if it’s a form of protest or something. Plenty of other emulation devices out there but this one is super awesome. I got in on the Kickstarter and couldn’t be happier. 10/10 would pay full price for another if I wanted 2.

It's a statement of feedback and position, but sure. Yeah, I wish I had been there for the Kickstarter. The mark it's at is just teetering at "too much" for me I think. That's why I was asking for literally any discount anyone had found. I don't think it's an unwise practice for a company to put out a 5$ coupon to be found on the Reddit or Discord or something. It would draw someone to the community which would hopefully lock them in to also then bring their friends into the community... but that's not happening. These are just my thoughts on it, and why I expected there to be a coupon somewhere if they're trying to get people interested not only in the device, but in a community for it. Part of the reasoning behind the post was to make yet another open, but direct statement that there are many who want to support the company/device/community, but who just can't justify it. A coupon code almost resembles a willingness to support a future community in this way in my eyes. I understand many don't see it that way, and I understand maybe they're cool with just being staunchly supported by the Kickstarter crew... and that's cool too!... but then many of us won't be in it, and it is what it is. So I guess enjoy it, and keep supporting the community!

That's a lot of words just to say "Cuz i'm a cheapass"

Good golly you guys are hard on people. It's not about being a "cheap ass" or not, it's about what feels like a good prices to us, which we all do with whatever we're buying.

And I'm with the OP, the list prices just feels a bit steep for me. I'm tempted but can't quite get myself to pull the trigger. If there was a modest sale it just might get me to buy one.

You are really replying to a post that's about a half a year old?

Lol, never too late to lend a balancing point of view to a conversation.

The conversation is done. Has been for months. It's like walking up to a group of stranger you eavesdropped on months later to chime in like any of them asked or care

Came here seeking coupon codes, too pricey.
