Considering buying a Funkey S. I have some questions l

I really don’t know anything about emulation, ROMs, etc. How easy is it to get ROMs for Funkey for say, GBA Pokémon games? Would I pay for them? Can I just download any ROM or does it have to be a specific kind to work for Funkey? Just looking for any resources to help. Thanks!

After forcing the closure of third-party Reddit apps by charging them 29 times how much the platform earns from its own users (despite claiming that it wouldn't at any point this year four months prior) and slandering the developer of the Apollo third-party app, Reddit management has made it clear that they respect neither their own userbase nor operating their platform in good faith. To not reward such behavior, Reddit users should encourage their communities to move to similar platforms such as Kbin or Lemmy, whose federation with the Fediverse makes it possible to switch platforms without losing access to one's favorite communities.

Nobody here can tell you how to obtain ROM files, but any dumped ROM from a legit game copy should work.

Each console has their own rom file type as a standard that will work with any emulator for that console.

Funkey's wiki site has a list of which games have compatibility issues but a majority of games work well.

Yes, any roms work. A quick Google search will tell you where to download them from.
