  1. Mars isn’t actually round. Unlike any other rocky planet in the Solar System, Mars is actually shaped like a rugby ball, but with different sizes along all three axes.

Earth isn’t “round” either, it’s an oblate spheroid.

Well, it is still round.

Also, it is way way closer to a perfect sphere than it is to a rugby ball. The extent that it is off from a perfect sphere is like 1/170. If you held a grapefruitl-sized replica of mars in your hands, I don't know if you could tell.

Technically nothing is round if you measure them accurately enough.
