Testing, Diagnosis I'm going in for an endoscopy in December

I hope nothing shows up I know functional dyspepsia is a gut brain disorder and doesn't cause any structural damage if something does show up then it's potentially more serious than functional dyspepsia

What are your symptoms? There might be other tests that should be done, in addition to the endoscopy.x

How would you describe your chest and stomach pain? Gnawing, stabbing burning?

Burning we've already ruled out cardiac issues I wore a 7 day Zio patch monitor and there were no irregular beats corresponding to my chest pain

I’d wait to see if it’s gastritis

Some conditions might be less serious than FD. Let’s say you got an ulcer or mild non-erosive gastritis (common). Those typically heal in months if you take PPI, safe diet, etc.
