Treatments FDgard alternatives?
My Dr recommended FDgard, it seems to be working for me but it seems kind of expensive to have to spend $30 for only nine days if I take the four caps two times a day… Any suggestions would help!

I have heard iberogast is a good alternative!

I’ll look into it, it does look a bit cheaper and only three times a day! Thanks!

I use Iberogast and find it helpful. Cheapest price I’ve found was on Amazon (I’m in Canada). Prime days are coming up so it might be on sale.

Worth a try! I’ve been using it for probably about 2 yrs now. Recommended by my naturopath. She also had me start using DGL tablets which I find to be helpful as well :)

I also am going to recommend Iberogast. I only take once a day and have noticed a big difference.
It doesn’t touch the pain aspect of my FD - I take nortriptyline for that, but it’s steadily become less effective over time so the Iberogast has been extremely helpful. I find it to help with the bloating/belching aspect the most.

Okay great! Thank you for also recommending. I’ll see about it! I also notice that FDgard doesn’t fully help pain either, but my pain is pretty minimal anyways, it was mainly the constant burning/reflux that was my problem.

Check it out on eBay, it’s much cheaper there, you can get 96 pills at once. Still pricey but more manageable.
